Click on the TIMECODE tab to open the Timecode settings window. Everything worked fine, I was plugged into the USB A port. Now turn the filter knob to configure the MIDI assignment.
You can also set Serato DJ to reset the played tracks everytime you exit the software, by checking the 'Reset Played Tracks on Exit' box, under the 'library + Display' tab in the setup menu.
